Whether the weather will wither me

I don't know

Or whether I'll withstand the weather

I don't know

Someone should win the battle you see

Well both are equal and it's a draw

For the weather passes by quietly

And I grow old a bit with and without strength

Losing physically and mastering mentally by enduring its severity!

Winter Mornings

I love to steal those few moments of love
Truly precious moments of love

When my son comes running to sleep

For five minutes with me
Before getting ready to school

To snuggle and cuddle him
Is so soothing and comforting to me

That I love to hang on to the bundle of joy

Neither he nor I wish to go to school

In the morning of a winter day!
