Independent Flights

Marvelous is the experience of Independence

Ah, well, wonderful, it’s but another dependence

Heart so light, happy in its flight

Jolly mood, amidst the green woods

Casually cycling, carelessly riding,

In the un-traffic road

Mind filled with mirth, joy

No worries, responsibilities, burdens, on my shoulders

Free, free, free like the bird that flies swiftly high

In the beautiful sky

Enjoying the peace and ease

My soul shifts into the world of Nature

Sun so bright in its glorious light

My heart sings softly within

What a wonderful happy time to spend

Hope to have a continuous path that does not end!

Elements of Energy

Fire, water, air, space and earth
Great five elements of life
Devoid of one
That’s it we are done
All are needed right from the womb
Otherwise headed to the doom!

Cozy Cat

I see a cozy cat
Sleeping near the door way mat
Startled by the bang of the door
Up it jumped from the floor
Next to me on the bench
For a comfort pat and stretch
It looked at me for a moment
No response from my side
For I was busy writing
About the cozy cat
Not knowing that…
The cozy cat slipped away quietly
When I realized it was too late.
I stopped and called…
Here kitty kitty kitty
Meowed twice, thrice
No response from the cat
As you sow, so you reap!

Autobiography Of a Coconut Tree

In a great garden I was born

Cared and petted every morn

Then purchased on one sudden dawn

And taken to a small farm

There I was all the more petted and pampered

By a particular form

I grew to the admiration of all

But there was a sudden fall

Seriously ill, treated with pill

Not cured still

Death approached and my life was about to depart

There came a cheering heart

Who stopped death from my roots

And gave a tap to start on shoots

So as to give fruits.

I was reborn

On that fine morn

Regained a new life

To serve the heart that saved my life!

Listen Listen Listen

Listen to the falling of the leaves
Listen to the rolling of the dusts
Listen in this calm noon silence…
The birds’ chirpings
How sweet they are, melodious too,
Listen to the swaying of leaves
They mingle with each other
That’s the life of Nature
Listen to the sighs of your heart
Weighed down with worldly worthless nonsense
Monotonous, tedious, fatigued
This wonderful silence breaks them
Wait and live in Nature
That boosts you up
To lead a life of Serene Supremacy!
