Realization

I

Boughs and branches lit in sunlight
Beautiful blue sky
A morning so perfect
As in pictures, paintings and real life
Busy are the people like the bees
Can’t take a break
To enjoy and appreciate, but
Flying in their four wheelers
On road to their destinations
Children to school
Men and women to work
Babies and toddlers to day cares and pre-school
Running short of time
Oh I’ll be late, late, late,
Rushing through the traffic
Over the speed limits, with tension and fear of being late
But raising the blood pressure.

II

Surprisingly, at the stoplight
I realized something different
Wait a minute whispers my heart
Why am I rushing? What for?
Why should I drop my kids in the day-care?
Why should I work so hard and earn money for!
All these questions cross my mind.
Is when I think of CREATION!

III

God’s creation is wonderful
He created the world
And then man.
Abundantly provided
Everything for him in Nature
Land to live, the whole wide world
Fruits and vegetables, food to eat
Shade and shelter under the trees
Medicine in herbs
To protect and cure, himself from
Whatever that comes.
Wow! What a wonderful creation!
Heaven they say
Is a place where
One finds everything
For himself and others in plenty
No doubt, this is Paradise!
I don’t know
Why man cannot comprehend
This simple truth
Instead he frantically spins
To and fro
In his worldly,
Day-to-day activities.
Bringing in him all kinds of
Tensions, worries and disease
Which pills, tablets, tonics and syrups
Can’t cure.
After all the hassles
He goes back to the
Healing herbs in Nature and
In search of his real, true Possessions
Peace, happiness, health and wisdom!
Nature the Creation of God
Has it all
So share and care,
Cherish and foster the rest for the future!

My Lost Mail

The ship named MY HEART is on sail
In search of my mail,
Crisp clean white sheets
Decorated with bright black
Words of wisdom
Neatly packed and posted.
Traveling to the land of Publication
Landed in the place called NOWHERE.
Unfortunately, lost in wilderness.
MY HEART, the ship sinks
Thinking of my lost mail
But still a speck of hope glitters
Deep down in the dark
Horizon of my heart
A sigh of sorrow
Relieves the pain
Wishing and hoping
One day it will reach home safely!

The Green Wave

On one pleasant sunny day, we were on our way to Norfolk on a business trip. We had to stop for lunch and while we waited for food from Taco, listening to the lovely Beatles song: “we all live in a yellow submarine…” there came this invisible green wave.

Our car was parked in front of a gorgeous green tall wall of wonderful trees. The hue of the leaves was of a slender tender green, very fresh, closely knit, born from the lap of Mother Nature, was shaking, shivering, shuddering in the nice breeze. The beautiful breeze lulled the newly born leaves and there was the green wave, so wonderful to watch.

It appeared to me like the flashing of lightening the visible, invisible green wave. Like the blue and white waves of the sea, here I could see the green wave appear and disappear in a fraction of a second. Repeating the rhythm of nature’s dance is a like a lucky chance to win something. The great experience, here, is the wonderful treasure to me!

The Parked Van

I
Watching it rain, seated inside the van was a novel experience. The water pouring down on the windshield gives the vision of being drenched down to the earth. But you are safe and dry seated inside. Still amazing views you can see and justify the filmmaker’s fantastic scenes. For, a solid building can be shaky, when you view through the water flowing wet windshield of your car.

II
Watching outside while you are seated inside the parked van is a beauty in disguise of your boredom. When suddenly the glass door in front of a parking lot is opened, you see the dance and collision of the different parked cars and vans. A true silent movie, a feast to the eyes takes you to the world of surprise. One single car can do magic by multiplying itself into two or three, when the enclosure of the building is constructed with glass walls and glass doors. And when the door opens and closes in front of you, wow, the reflection in a glass door is a wonderful gift of amusement!
